Our hearts are filled with sadness as we announce the death of our sister, aunt, and friend. Shirley was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. on May 27, 1945, her pain and suffering ended April 18, 2015 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich., surrounded by her family. Shirley was an avid sports fan. Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers were her number one favorites.

Kenneth J. Fox
Kenneth J. Fox, 94, passed away peacefully at his home in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., on April 21, 2015. He was born on Lower Hay Lake Road July 12, 1920 to Leonard and Hazel Fox. Ken graduated from Sault High School in 1940. He joined the Merchant Marines in October 1942, serving in the North Atlantic. He was then drafted and graduated from the US Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, in 1944. During World War II, Ken was a submariner and was honorable discharged in April, 1946.
